CDL-A Intermodal Drivers - Columbus, OH Job Type: Driver We're hiring experienced CDL-A Company Drivers for intermodal work in the Columbus, OH market. Why Drive With Us: Home Daily – Sleep in your own bed every night No Touch Freight – Intermodal containers only Multiple Shift Options – Day, night, and weekend rates available Layover Pay – 2-3 layovers per week compensated Pay Structure: Day Shift: $12.00/hour + $0.36 CPM Night Shift: $15.50/hour + $0.36 CPM Mileage: $0.36 CPM on all runs This is an hourly plus mileage compensation package with regional intermodal work centered in the Columbus, Ohio market. What You'll Do: Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip tractor inspections Handle container, chassis, and coupling/uncoupling procedures Operate in terminal, rail-yard, and intermodal facilities Requirements: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL-A experience Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening #J-18808-Ljbffr Safeload Trucking
