Forklift OperatorAbacus Staffing is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators for multiple warehouse and distribution facilities throughout Central New Jersey. We are looking for candidates with experience operating warehouse equipment in fast-paced distribution, logistics, and manufacturing environments.Qualified candidates should be experienced operating one or more of the following:Reach TruckCherry Picker / Order PickerSit-Down ForkliftElectric Pallet Jack (EPJ)Responsibilities:Safely operate material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouseLoad and unload trailers efficiently and accuratelyPerform put-away, replenishment, and inventory movement tasksPick orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systemsTransport products to designated storage and staging locationsConduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concernsVerify product counts, labels, and locations for accuracyFollow all OSHA and company safety proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssist with general warehouse duties as neededQualifications:Previous forklift operating experience requiredExperience operating Reach Truck, Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and/or Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)Forklift certification preferred (may be required by specific client assignments)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as neededAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shiftExperience with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyReliable transportation to assigned work locationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWhat We Offer:Competitive pay ranging from $19.00 - $23.96 per hourWeekly payMultiple shifts availableOvertime opportunitiesTemp-to-hire and long-term assignmentsOpportunities for career growth and advancementSupportive recruiting and on-site management teamsWork Locations:Carteret, NJPiscataway, NJCranbury, NJFlorence, NJSpotswood, NJAbacus Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
