Live-In Caregiver OpportunityCherished Companions Home Care is a reputable caregiving agency dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to one of our valued clients. Our clients are located throughout the eastern Cleveland- area suburbs (Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Northern Portage and Northern Summit Counties). If you are a dedicated professional with a heart for caregiving, we invite you to join our team.As a Live-In Caregiver, you will reside with our elderly client in their home, providing comprehensive care and assistance with daily activities. Your role will be essential in ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being, while maintaining a high standard of professional care.Key Responsibilities:Live with the client 24/7 for weeks to months at a time.Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygieneManage and conduct medication reminders according to prescribed schedulesPrepare balanced and nutritious meals, and assist with feeding if necessarySupport mobility needs, including assistance with walking, transfers, and use of mobility aidsPerform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy environmentProvide emotional support and companionship, engaging in meaningful activities and conversationsMonitor health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes to family members or healthcare professionalsEnsure a safe and comfortable living environment by adhering to safety protocolsQualifications:18 years of age or olderPrevious experience as a caregiver or in a similar role, with a focus on elderly careRelevant certifications or training (e.g., CNA, HHA, CPR) preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of caregiving best practices and health and safety standardsAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobilityExcellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skillsProfessional, reliable and dedicated to providing high-quality careBackground check and references requiredAbility to read, write and speak in EnglishLicense and vehicle preferred but not requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryPrivate living accommodations within the client's homeMeals and utilities providedSupportive work environment with opportunities for professional developmentComprehensive training and ongoing supportPaid time off (available after 90 days)Health, dental & vision insurance (available after 90 days)401K retirement program (available after 90 days)Life insurance (available after 90 days)Referral bonusesVirtual interviewing optionsIf you are a professional caregiver who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of the elderly, we would love to hear from you.
